Structure of my Tesla-Coil

01 toroid300.jpg
The finished Tesla generator with a 300 x 108 mm Toroid.

With this assembly the coils work with
a resonance frequency of 254,757 kHz.

Pick-up on the primary at 7,9 turns

Here to produce still another 500 x 108 mm of Toroid presented around more Topload.

With this assembly work the coils with
a resonance frequency of 215,304 kHz.

Pick-up on the primary at 9,33 turns

Final version with 500 x 160 a mm of Toroid.

With this assembly work the coils with
a resonance frequency of 215,552 kHz.

Pick-up on the primary at 9,27 turns.

Here the back of the instrument panel.

Left the voltmeter, which went with my attempts broken
and on the right the amperemeter.

The power input filter and below them the connecting terminals.

Left the plug connection with integrated power switch,
control lamp and a 4 ampere fuse.
On the right are two sockets for the plug of the external switch.

Various parts were manufactured from polycarbonate.

See the primary coil with pick up clip. and over it the strikeprotectionrail on earth connected.

The front side of the instrument panel and the condenser block (MMC).

The spark gap with 230 V cooler

and behind it a part of the safety spark gap with safety chokes.

The view from down.

Here is good also the wiring of the high voltage to see.

From the two large lustre terminals the metal parts were removed, them serve only for the guidance of the high-voltage cables.

Also the soldered on discharging resistors on the lowest condenser plate are to be recognized.

Below them the neon transformer.
